Consent

We are a teaching practice for GP registrars, medical and nursing students and other health professionals. Please advise our administration team if you do not consent to their presence during your consult. You will be notified if they are on-site, and in some instances, you may be required to sign a consent form.

Federal and State registers and reminder systems for certain conditions or prevention activities have been put in place. We are committed to preventative care and may issue you with a reminder notice via SMS, email, phone call and/or letter, offering you preventative health services appropriate to your care. Please advise us if you do not wish to receive these messages.

Test Results

Healthicare requires patients to make an appointment for all investigation results, including blood tests and imaging results. This will ensure we provide you with the most comprehensive medical care. Results are strictly confidential.

For abnormal investigation results, you will receive three SMS notifications and a recall letter, until a follow-up appointment is made. This is for your safety.

No pathology results will be given over the phone by any staff member except the GP.

Please ensure your details are up-to-date so we can contact you.
