Patient Services
At Healthicare, we believe in empowering individuals to improve their wellbeing. Our services include exercise plans, nutritional guidance and self-management tips for chronic health conditions. We also offer on-site pathology services and support in medication management to ensure that you receive the best possible care.
Our location within the Blacktown Exercise Sports and Technology Hub (BEST) allows us to provide minor injury management and referral pathways to radiology and neighbourhood allied health services for sporting injuries. We understand that every patient is unique, and we strive to provide personalised care that meets your specific needs.
In addition, Healthicare offers referrals to service providers and social services, such as housing, welfare, employment services, addiction support and domestic violence. We are committed to providing comprehensive care that aligns with the extended primary care model led by GPs specialised in helping children and families.
We hope that our services will help you achieve your health goals and improve your quality of life. Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions or would like to book an appointment.

FAQs
At Healthicare, we are committed to providing comprehensive care that addresses the social determinants of poor health outcomes for disadvantaged and vulnerable communities. We have partnered with the Mt Druitt Medical Practitioners Association (MDMPA) to create a Neighbourhood Health Hub that serves as an extension to neighbouring general practices and other providers. Our goal is to provide access to wraparound services that support those with complex care needs.
Healthicare is a new health service that aims to help people in Western Sydney. It is run in partnership with the Mt Druitt Medical Practitioners Association (MDMPA).
Healthicare will work with GPs and other health professionals to provide better care for people who need it most. This includes people who are very unwell and have many health problems.
Healthicare will use a new way of working together called a “neighbourhood-based model of care”. This means that GPs and other health professionals will work together to help people in their local area. The goal is to improve the health and social outcomes of the most vulnerable families in Western Sydney.
Healthicare provides a range of services to cater to everyone who requires holistic health care. Our GPs have special interests in child and family, complex chronic conditions and mental health. We aim to wrap all your health care services into one unified Neighbourhood Health Hub, supporting surrounding general practices with access to services for those with complex care needs.
In addition to general GP services, we provide patient-activated services to help you navigate problems you may have with your health from a new perspective. These services include:
- Minor injury management and referral pathways to radiology and neighbourhood allied health services
- Referrals to service providers and social services such as housing, welfare, employment services, addiction support and domestic violence
- Shared antenatal care with Westmead and Blacktown Public Hospitals
- In-house podiatry
- Psychologist support
- Childhood, adult, and travel vaccinations
- Skin checks, including liquid nitrogen freezing for sunspots and warts
- Comprehensive chronic disease management
- Diabetes education
- Minor surgery
- Clinical pharmacist in-house medication reviews and education
- On-site pathology
Healthicare is available to anyone who requires access to health care services we offer. We support neighbouring GPs who may wish to refer their patients and are also available to community members who do not have a regular GP.
We are especially looking forward to caring for families with young children, complex chronic conditions and mental health concerns.

Yes, all eligible services at Healthicare are bulk-billed for patients with a valid Medicare card. If you do not have a valid Medicare card, you will be charged an out-of-pocket fee of $90. Patient Forms
We want to provide you with the best possible health care services. To do this, we need to collect some information from you. We will ask you to fill out some forms and questionnaires. We will also ask you some questions directly.
Sometimes, we may need to get information from someone else who knows you well, like your GP or a family member. We may also share your information with other health care providers and third parties to help you get the right care. We will always ask for your permission before we do this.
MyMedicare
We invite all existing and new patients who consider us to be your preferred practice, to register for MyMedicare. To complete a registration, scan the QR code or register using the link provided on this page. If you have any questions, please contact our team.
What is MyMedicare?
The Australian Government has introduced a new voluntary patient registration model called MyMedicare to drive improvements in primary health care for all Australians and deliver new funding packages to primary care providers.
MyMedicare will strengthen the relationship between patients and their health care teams by allowing patients to register with their regular general practice and select their preferred GP and providers within the practice.
This registration aims to strengthen the relationship between you, your GP, and the team at Healthicare.
For more information, please see the Registering in MyMedicare Factsheet for Patients.
What are the benefits of MyMedicare for our patients?
The key benefits to you include better access, better continuity of care, and better planning.
Registration in MyMedicare is not compulsory, however it is recommended to improve continuity of care for patients.
You can also change your mind and leave the program at any time. It does not affect your Medicare rights or benefits.
Please reach out to our team if you have any questions.
